The permitting process for integrated floodplain management processes can be a challenge, adding complexity and time to our efforts to restore floodplain areas. The permitting priority effort includes two key components: permitting coordination conversations and the development of a flood hub resource.

There are pulses of activity and different forums where permitting efforts are taking place, making it challenging for people to track and engage effectively. Join our permitting coordination check-ins every other Wednesday to track progress, share insights, and collaborate effectively.

Purpose: Over the next year, the FbD backbone is building out the Flood Hub. The Flood hub will be a transformative resource that will connect practitioners to permitting resources, examples, and expertise. We are convening a small work group to provide input as the hub is developed.
